Through 42 years of development, strategic planning, and leadership experience, Tony has raised over $450 million for dioceses, several colleges and universities, Catholic high schools, hospitals, and social service agencies.
Previously, he served as Executive Director of Stewardship and Development for the Diocese of Providence, RI for 18 years, directing the Catholic Charity Fund, along with the Diocesan Stewardship program, the Catholic Foundation of Rhode Island, and the Anchor of Hope Scholarship program. During his tenure, the Diocese of Providence Stewardship & Development Office received over 25 awards for excellence for their annual appeal, stewardship, planned giving and foundation programs. He has also served as an Executive Director for Community Counseling Service Co., Inc. and has directed major capital campaigns in New York, Maine, and Rhode Island.
In 2011, Tony was awarded the Bishop William G. Connare Award, a lifetime achievement award and the highest award given by ICSC to a diocesan development professional.
Tony is a former board member of International Catholic Stewardship Council (ICSC), the Rhode Island Chapter of NSFRE (National Society of Fund-Raising Executives—now AFP) and District 1 (New England) of the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education (CASE). He is a frequent speaker at ICSC International Conferences.

Tony holds a B.A. and an M.A. from Providence College and is the proud father of two adult children who both work in the development profession. Tony lives in Johnston, Rhode Island, and is an active member of St. Robert Bellarmine Parish
