Greater Mission works as a team in providing the best support possible for our clients.
Our approach is to deliver additional hands-on support to our clients as needed, actively working with them to achieve the goals of the campaign. The key to success is in the implementation of plans in a timely manner. A designated team member will provide continuing guidance and will also work shoulder-to-shoulder with staff to deliver results.
Greater Mission works as a team in providing the best support possible for our clients. The final plan for the campaign will be shaped through the first four stages of the proposed planning process. Below is an example of the four phases of a comprehensive campaign schedule:
• Organization Phase: This phase involves the building of an internal campaign team with defined responsibilities, identifying the campaign leadership cabinet, developing the creative collateral materials and communications plan for the campaign, finalizing the goal, gift plan and phasing schedule.
• Leadership Phase: This phase involves the recruiting of the campaign leadership cabinet and the development of other campaign leadership with various constituent segments – alumni, community, university, and parish. Solicitation of advanced gift prospects in the six to seven-figure range over a three to five-year pledge period begin in this phase and continue through an ongoing process of identifying new leadership candidates, engaging them and inviting their generous support. Efforts to secure Foundation grants and corporate gifts also begin. The majority of total support for the campaign will come in this phase.
• Participation Phase: This phase involves the solicitation of the entire remaining constituency base through a combination of direct mail, email, and phoning. This phase also launches the promotion of legacy giving.
• Campaign Continuation: This phase involves the ongoing solicitation of new major gifts, grants, and single gift or advance-payoff pledge renewal invitations. Celebrations of major progress and project completion offer natural opportunities for new campaign participation and pledge extension.
