Below is a Q&A with Jeff to share more about him and his work with Greater Mission.

Q: Would you tell us a little about yourself and your life these days?

A: These days I have been focused on the Learn to Lead Campaign for schools in the Richmond Diocese working with schools in the Tidewater area.

Q: What led you to a career in the mission-driven world?

A: Having been brought up in the Christian faith, it has always been important to me to help the church in its mission to spread the good news of the gospel.

Q: What is the most rewarding thing about your work?

A: Working alongside our customers to achieve sometimes lofty goals to further their mission whether it be an elementary or secondary school, a parish, a church or a non-profit organization. It is the people I enjoy most.

Q: What is the most surprising thing you’ve learned while working with Greater Mission?

A: How open our clients are to listening and learning from our staff as we go through the process of a campaign. It is sometimes difficult for our clients to assist Greater Mission and still do their “full time job.”

Q: What have you found that clients are most surprised by when they begin working with Greater Mission?

A: How vital it is to develop relationships with potential donors and continually stay in touch with them. This is a marathon and not a sprint when it comes to fundraising.

Q: What would you say to someone whose organization could benefit from Greater Mission’s services?

A: That Greater Mission offers a free consultation to determine if we are a good fit for their organization. Since there is no obligation, what do you have to lose?

Q: Is there anything else you’d like to share?

A: I want to thank my clients for their hard work in helping Greater Mission help them reach their goals.
