We would like to extend our congratulations to Sister Norma Pimentel for being named one of Time magazine’s 100 most influential people of 2020.

Sister Pimentel serves as Executive Director for Catholic Charities of the Rio Grande Valley. Her work supporting migrants along the U.S.-Mexico border earned her the Time magazine honor.

We at Greater Mission are humbled and honored to be working with the Diocese of Brownsville and Catholic Charities of the Rio Grande Valley where Sister Pimentel leads efforts to respond to the needs of the most vulnerable and marginalized members of the community.
