Heart to Serve shows each parishioner how to put their whole heart into serving others, selflessly bringing the love of Christ to every person and into every situation.
What does love look like?
“It has the hands to help others. It has the feet to hasten to the poor and needy. It has eyes to see misery and want. It has the ears to hear the sighs and sorrows of men. This is what love looks like.”
Jesus gave us an example to follow by the way he humbled himself to serve others. Serving with all your heart means serving with the heart of Jesus. How can we serve with the heart of Christ in our homes, in our families, in our neighborhoods, in our workplaces and in our parish? The Heart to Serve Season offers the parish a time each year to invite greater service from parishioners in ways that make the reign of God come more fully alive.
