“Paul, a slave of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle and set apart for the Kingdom of God.”
This Sunday’s second reading also speaks of the Spirit of holiness and how each of us are called to be holy. This Sunday’s Gospel tells of when the angel spoke to Joseph saying, “do not be afraid to take Mary your wife into your home. For it is through the Holy Spirit that this child has been conceived in her”. The grace given by the Holy Spirit to Mary, Joseph and Jesus set them apart. What a wonder that you and I have access to the same Holy Spirit and the same grace to be set apart for the special task to change the world.
